What happens to what you write here.
If you write to me through the form on this site, you are trusting me with something. Here is exactly what is kept, who sees it, and how to have it removed. It is short because there is not much to say.
What is kept
Your name, your email address, your phone number if you chose to give one, and the message you wrote.
Whether you accepted the invitation to receive my writing.
Which link brought you here, if the link carried that information. This tells me whether a piece I wrote reached you, and nothing about you.
Where it goes
Into private storage that needs a key to open.
Into my own record of the people who have written to me, so that a conversation does not get lost in an inbox.
Onto my writing list, only if you said yes. If you did not, you will not hear from me except in reply.
Who sees it
Me, and the person who maintains this site. Nobody else.
If you send me a testimonial
The form for that keeps your words, your name, your role, your email address, and the photograph you attached if you sent one.
Nothing appears on this site until I have read it myself and put it there. Your email address is never published. It is kept so that I can thank you, and so that the permission you gave can be traced back to a real person if I am ever asked to show that it was.
That permission is kept permanently, with its date and the exact sentences you agreed to, because a coaching body may one day ask me to show it. It is kept even if your words later come down, and it is the only part of a testimonial that is.
Ask through the form and it comes down. Your words, your name, your email address and every copy of your photograph are destroyed, and the record of the permission is what stays, so it can be shown that you gave it and later withdrew it.
What is not done
Nothing here is sold, shared or used for advertising.
There are no tracking pixels in my emails, so I do not know whether you opened one.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics at all. That is unusual enough to be worth saying plainly rather than leaving you to assume it.
Having it removed
Ask, and it is removed. There is no email address anywhere on this site, deliberately, so that it cannot be collected by the machines that collect such things. That means asking through the same form. Your request is stored the way any message is, and then acted on.
