Andar Ki Dastak

Almost nobody comes to a coaching conversation because of something said to them from outside. They come because something inside knocked, and then knocked again, until leaving it unanswered cost more than opening the door. The title of this book is that sound.

So it is a book of questions rather than answers. The corporate ones and the life ones sit side by side here, because in thirty years I have never once found them to be two separate sets. An answer you arrive at yourself is the only kind that ever moves anything. It reached Urdu through Aleem Ahmad, who translated it, so that these questions could be read in the language many of us think in when nobody is listening.
