About me

The long way here.

From coding in Abu Dhabi to quiet conversations in Riyadh. Thirty years, told honestly, in my own words.

I never left the building world. Keep that in mind for later.
Abu Dhabi

The builder

Fifteen years at Etisalat, moving through IT audit, telecom operations and systems analysis. The kind of work where you learn how large things actually run, and how often the problem sitting in the system is really a problem sitting in a person.

Then Riyadh, and Elm, where I still work as a senior product manager in mobility and logistics, more than thirteen years on. I build by day to this day. That is not a footnote to my coaching. It is half of it.

A door opens

I walked into a leadership training under Dr. Hussain Rangwala as an engineer, and walked out having seen, for the first time, what happens to a person when someone truly listens to them. The door never closed. For years it stayed quietly open while I kept building.

The student

My first formal coaching course, with MarsVenus Coaching in the United States. Richard Bernstein, the CEO of MarsVenus, became my coach then, and has coached me every single week since. More than a decade of sitting in the client's chair myself has shaped the coach I became more than any certificate.

Erickson Coaching International came after, then Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching, and in time the ICF PCC credential. Most recently I completed the Master Coach Certification training at Coach Masters Academy in Singapore. I collect teachers the way other people collect titles.

Mumkin

With Faisal Khan and Umair Akram, I co-founded Mumkin, a coaching practice. The word means possible. I am still a partner there, and it is where my coaching engagements live.

Now

Both lives at once

Product manager by day. Coach in the quiet hours. Author of four books in two languages, written the way I coach, one honest story at a time. I decided long ago not to choose between ambition and meaning. I hold both. And I coach people who are trying to learn that same grip.
